I photograph everything that I hate or despise. Everything that I love. All that fascinates me, irritates, or scares me. To be honest: I am an incompetent in practical life and the daily life bores me as much as it scares me, and if it wasn´t my passion for photography and the way it allows me to stage and shape reality making it more “my own", I would be no more then another fool that doesn´t know where to belong and has nowhere to drop dead. Well, in reality I dont have where to drop dead, but at least I strive to when I do fall, I fall proudly.

What else is left? Nothing. And in reality I did not want it any other way.

Create only to please ladies and gentlemen is to create lying, I never did and I never will, so why not create from my true guts?

 

It´s all that I am/have in every single image that I make: the love that I lost, the people that I still love, the friend that vanished, a dream or two, the way I see the world; what I fell and love or what I think and hate, vice-versa.

I dont intend to decorate the dining room of no one, nor I pretend to be narratively or conceptually coherent.

Each image always closes a cycle, a story, a personal account, and if my pictures seem raw, rude and inconsistent, its just because they are.

I dont know what is the best way of create, but I do know that this is the only honest way, (to me).
